With the tournament in the rush, every nation is doing its best to hoist the prestigious T20 international trophy. The host nation was the former winner of this delightful trophy. Australia won the 2021 T20 World Cup held in UAE.

However, some of the world-class players are to miss this tournament this year.

Opener

Talking about openers, they are the key players for a better score on the scoreboard. However, openers like Johnny Bairstow and Josh Inglis are about to miss their T20 campaign due to injury.

Middle Order

Rassie Van Der Dussen(broken finger):

Another promising player to join the injured XI of T20 World Cup 2022 is Dussen. Van Dussen has been replaced by Wiaan Mulder.

Dussen injured his left index finger while playing the final third test against England. The South African International has played 37 innings in the T20 Internationals.

Daryl Mitchell(hand fracture): Mitchell faced his injury in training. Now, he will be replaced by wicketkeeper-batter Dane Cleaver for the tournament.

Daryl has played 35 matches in the T20 international. The fierce batsman has 657 runs in his 33 innings.

Ravindra Jadeja(knee surgery):  The talented spinner and middle-order batsman is about to miss the T20 tournament following his knee surgery.

His absence will be marked with a great hole in the team. However, Axar Patel is set to replace Jadeja in his absence.
