125cc World Championship

  • On 13 April 2008, he made his championship debut at the 125cc 2008 Portuguese Grand Prix at 15.
  • He became the youngest Spanish rider to take a Grand Prix motorcycle racing podium on 22 June 2008.
  • At 16 years, he became the youngest Spanish rider to take pole position at the French Grand Prix.
